The Excalibur Gas Monitoring System (EGM-series) represents a new generation of intelligent, multi-channel gas monitoring units designed for modern industrial environments. Built around a powerful microcontroller-based architecture, EGM is capable of simultaneously monitoring up to 16 Gas Sensors from a single, centralized wall-mounted controller - dramatically simplifying plant-wide gas detection and safety management.
At the heart of the system is a 7-inch color touch-screen display that provides real-time gas concentration readings, units, alarm status, and bar-graph visualization for every channel. This advanced interface also allows operators to configure gas types, ranges, alarm thresholds, delays, calibration, data logging, and diagnostics directly at the unit - eliminating the need for external configuration tools.
What makes Excalibur truly transformational is its seamless integration capability. The system can operate as a fully standalone gas monitoring solution or connect effortlessly to PLC, DCS, or SCADA systems via RS485 using Modbus RTU, enabling centralized control, automation, and compliance reporting across large facilities.
With 32 programmable relays, dual alarm levels, fault relays, and individual 4–20 mA analog outputs for each channel, the EGM delivers industrial-grade reliability and precise control where safety is non-negotiable. The EGM is offered in both, 8 and 16-channel variations.
The Excalibur Gas Monitoring System is ideally suited for Oil & Gas facilities, Chemical plants, Refineries, Pharmaceuticals, Power plants, manufacturing units, laboratories, Boiler rooms, Utility tunnels, and confined spaces - anywhere continuous, multi-point gas monitoring is critical to protecting people, assets, and operations.
Designed for long-term performance and ease of maintenance, the EGM combines modular construction, robust diagnostics, and a proven communication backbone to set a new benchmark in industrial gas detection, safety monitoring, and automation readiness - backed by a comprehensive two-year performance warranty.
