Loop Powered Indicators

The ASHE Series 408 Digital Loop powered Indicators are compact, rugged and reliable indicating instruments designed for accurate measurement applications. The Indicator accepts an industrial standard current input signal of 4 to 20 mA DC and displays the process value calibrated to the desired units, on a linear scale. The process value is displayed on 4-digit or 4-1/2 digit seven-segment LCD and LED digital display modules. There is no necessity of any external Power Supply. The Indicator does not load the loop, having a nominal input impedance, and offers a forward voltage drop of 2.2 V DC at 20 mA DC current. Other features include automatic polarity detection, over-range detection, Zero and Span settings and fast response time.

 

The micro-controller based Digital Loop powered Indicator offers full calibration and decimal selection facility from the membrane keypad on the front panel. The Indicator is available in several dimensions in panel mounted execution and optionally in Weather-proof or Flame-proof executions. All ASHE instruments carry a lifetime warranty against defects in components and workmanship.

The JM-408 Indicator accepts an industrial standard current loop input signal of 4 to 20 mA DC and displays the process value calibrated to the desired units, on a linear scale. The process value is displayed on a 4-digit seven-segment LCD or LED digital display module. There is no necessity of any external Power Supply. The Indicator does not load the loop, having a nominal input impedance, and offers a forward voltage drop of 5.4 V DC at 20 mA DC current.

Other features include automatic polarity detection, over-range detection, Zero and Span settings and fast response time.

The ASHE Model JM-408 Digital process Indicator is an Intrinsically Safe certified indicating instrument in a compact, rugged and reliable execution, which is specifically designed for accurate process measurement applications in hazardous areas.

The microcontroller based Indicator accepts an industrial standard current input signal of 4 to 20 mA DC and displays the actual process value calibrated in the desired units, on a linear scale. The process value is displayed on a 4-Digit seven-segment LCD or LED digital display module. There is no necessity of any external Power Supply. The instrument can be calibrated on any scale range from -999 to +9999 units.

The Ashe JM-408 Indicator is therefore an ideal single unit substitute to conventional analog indicators because of it's inherent accuracy in process control, besides other superior characteristics like total immunity to Shocks, Dust, Ambient temperatures, Humidity and Corrosive atmospheres.

It's unique feature is that it is completely current loop-driven, eliminating the requirement of any external power supply source and associated cabling. Further, the instrument is manufactured using selected high-grade components which guarantee it's reliability and long operational life. The ASHE Model MTX-408 Digital temperature Indicator is a compact, rugged and reliable indicating instrument which is specifically designed for accurate temperature measurement applications.

The Indicator accepts an industrial standard RTD Pt-100 (3 wire) temperature sensor input and displays the actual temperature value calibrated in the desired units, on a linear scale. The temperature is displayed on a 4-Digit seven-segment LED digital display module. A two-wire temperature transmitter is built into the indicator, which converts the temperature reading into an accurate digital readout after linearizing the Sensor signal.

A Power supply of 24VDC is required to power the temperature transmitter. The instrument is calibrated for a temperature range of - 50 to +500 Deg. C as per DIN 43760. The Ashe MTX-408 Indicator is therefore an ideal single unit substitute to conventional analog indicators because of it's inherent accuracy in temperature measurement besides other superior characteristics like total immunity to Shocks, Dust, Ambient temperatures, Humidity and Corrosive atmospheres.

The design is compact and rugged and offered in a IP66 Certified flameproof and weatherproof enclosure.
