Temperature Scanners

The ASHE Series MAX range of microcontroller based multi-channel Temperature Scanners are compact, rugged and reliable instruments designed for accurate measurement and control applications. The Scanners are fully configurable instruments with options of 2/4/8/16 channel inputs, which can accept Thermocouple (J,K,R,S,T,E) sensors and RTD Pt-100 (three-wire) sensors. Upto four Relay outputs are offered as assignable control outputs, each of which can switch a load of up to 10 Ampere rating. Separate displays are provided for channel number and it’s corresponding temperature. The instrument operates on 85 to 270 V, 50/60 Hz Universal AC power supply and is offered in ¼ DIN standard panel-mount execution. Options include settings for Channel Skip and Scan Time, Analog Retransmission signals, weather-proof/flame-proof/panel mount options, etc.

All ASHE instruments carry a lifetime warranty against defects in components and workmanship.

The instrument has six keys on the front panel, with which the operator can set the parameters and configure the instrument as desired. A two-digit display indicates the channel number, while a four-digit display indicates the corresponding temperature.

The instrument accepts input from two / four / eight / sixteen nos. RTD Pt-100 or Thermocouple sensors, or 4-20 mA analog signals. The instrument is calibrated as specified. The Temperature Scanner provides four control Relay outputs configurable to any of the input channels, providing alarm or trip set-points for any channel. The set points are configured through the Membrane Keypad on the front panel. The instrument operates on universal AC power supply and is offered in ¼ DIN standard panel-mount execution.

The instrument has a RS485 Modbus RTU output. The temperature is factory calibrated to the desired operating range of the input sensors through the instrument software and may be changed, if specifically required. Other features include it's inherent accuracy and immunity to shocks, dust, ambient temperatures, and humidity. It is also available in field-mounting (weather-proof / explosion-proof executions) and standard panel mounting enclosures. Further, the instrument is manufactured using selected high-grade components which guarantee it's functionality and long operational life. The instrument carries a performance warranty against defects in design and workmanship. All ASHE range of instruments carry a lifetime warranty for design and workmanship.

The Indicator accepts an industrial standard current input signal of 4 to 20 mA DC and displays the actual process value calibrated in the desired units, on a linear scale. The process value is displayed on a 4-Digit seven-segment LCD digital display module. There is no necessity of any external Power Supply.

The instrument is fully configurable and can be calibrated on any scale range from -9999 to +9999 units. Decimal Point setting is also provided in the instrument.
